Host Phil Donahue recalled Danny Thomas, founder of St. Jude's. "We both have received many, many honors," he said. "My father-in-law has been knighted by two popes, and I was recently named Man of the Year by Transvestites for a Better America."In the Beverly Hilton crowd, Jon Hamm chatted up Angie Dickinson, and Mila Kunis and Rashida Jones high-fived each other for their pledges.Ray Romano said, "I can't wait until my act is over so I can hear Tony Bennett. In my head, I'm saying, 'Get off the stage.' "In his perf, Bennett made an unexpected dedication for "The Good Life.""I'd like to dedicate this song to Lady Gaga," Bennett said.
