David Cronenbergs The Fly follow up is able to go

David Cronenberg has written a follow up towards the Fly and it is awaiting Fox to determine whether they would like to allow it to be.Pushed about whispers of the Fly remake in a recent Harmful Method junket, Cronenberg stated."The Fly isn't exactly a remake, it's kind of a follow up, kinda."Yeah, which was a factor. I have written a script of this, and I'm not sure if that will really happen, but which has related to Fox."We are unsure what can stop Fox attempting to greenlight a follow up towards the Fly written and perhaps directed by Cronenberg. Possibly they are really mounted on Chris Walas' The Fly II.Or possibly these were so traumatised through the bit using the dog for the reason that film that any script marked 'The Fly II' goes directly into the bin.In either case, this is an exciting prospect.
