What camera should I buy to START making movies?

I am VERY beginner, I'm only 17, but my dream is to write and direct
movies, so whats a good quality video camera, cheap (as far as video
cameras go) that I can buy? I don't want a hand held, home video
camera, something I can really work with! Thank you!
